Programs: Emergency Relief

Goods for Good’s Emergency Relief program provides essential materials to children in crisis.
War and natural disasters leave thousands of children in all parts of the world vulnerable. Goods for Good is committed to assisting children in crisis through the provision of basic necessities.
In 2006, Goods for Good provided emergency relief to victims of the Pakistan earthquake. The earthquake devastated parts of the country, killing approximately 73,000 people and leaving another 70,000 injured. G4G shipped over 170 boxes of new winter clothes donated by The Children’s Place to children affected by the earthquake. G4G worked in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and DHL shipping service to distribute the clothing to the children and families who were hit hardest by the disaster.
