In 2008, LeapFrog partnered with Goods for Good to donate over 1,200 LeapPad
Learning Systems to orphans, vulnerable children and their caregivers across the
United States and Malawi. Over 1,000 inner city and village children are now
using LeapPads to enrich their education at home, in the classroom and in a variety
of child centered programs.


Goods for Good was featured as a Worthwhile Cause on the celebrity gossip blog, PerezHilton.com, which receives millions of visitors every day. Thank you Perez for helping us increase awareness of the needs of orphans and vulnerable children in the developing world!

Melissa discusses Goods for Good with Emmy Award-winning anchor Steve Adubato and gives insight into the impact of GFG’s work on the lives of vulnerable children in Malawi and Liberia. The show was originally broadcast on Wednesday, June 27 on CN8-The COMCAST Network and Cablevision and reached a potential audience of 9.2 million viewers from Maine to Virginia. One-on-One features political leaders, CEOs, television personalities, professors, artists and educational innovators who share their experiences and accomplishments in an involved half-hour conversation.
Melissa Kushner and Goods for Good volunteer Alex Berkenkamp were featured in the Helping Hands column of the New Jersey Star-Ledger on Tuesday, June 26. The article, "Reaching out to African children in need", highlighted the history and mission of GFG and the vital role that dedicated volunteers like Alex play in making our success possible.
